BACK TO SCHOOL TIME
Welcome!
πIt's time to buzz into another great year!
Welcome back, families! Whether youβre brandβnew or returning, weβre thrilled to have you in our hive.πβ€οΈπ
As we begin this year's journey, we invite you to join the PTA or renew your membership dues. Membership doesnβt require volunteering; it simply connects you to the heartbeat of our school. Through your support, weβre able to provide meaningful programs, helpful resources, and special moments that enrich the experiences of students and teachers all year long.
Don't forget that membership renewal is done every year-unfortunately it doesn't carry on to the next year!
Our PTA focuses on a single mission:
to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Your membership strengthens our community.
Your support lifts up our teachers.
Your involvement helps every child thrive.
π Join the PTA and help us make this year our strongest yet.π
- Areas of support from the PTA at our school:
- Open communication between school Admin, Teachers and Parents
- Fieldtrip support for each grade
- Teacher classroom supplies support
- Carnival and Field Day
- AND More!
JOIN NOWπ
You may submit dues via joinPTA.org or our Cheddar Up store. Please note that joinPTA does not offer the $6 student rate for Newton Rayzor PTA memberships. For you convenience, you can submit dues for adult memberships and child membership in one transaction via Cheddar Up.
Please note that both sites charge a processing fee. You may also pay your dues in cash at Meet the Teacher or Generations Night. Starting the second week of school, membership forms and envelopes will be available in the front office.
MEMBERSHIP MANIA
Help our PTA earn the Texas PTA Head Start award by submitting your PTA dues this August! We will earn this award when 85% of our membership total from last year joins in August.
Question: Who can join the NRE PTA?
Answer: Anyone can be a member of our PTA! Parents, students, teachers, grandparents, family members, neighbors, community members, local business owners, and NRE alumni families are just a start. The more members we have, the more we can accomplish. Join today and bring a friend!

TEACHER SPONSORSHIP
Every teacher and staff member at Newton Rayzor pours their energy into our kids every single day β let's make sure they feel that support right back. A PTA membership connects them to our school community and gives them a voice in the decisions that shape it.
For just $11 per membership, you can sponsor one (or several!) of the incredible educators and staff members who make our school what it is. Feel free to sponsor as many as you'd like β every membership is a small way of saying "we see you, and we appreciate you."
100% of your contribution goes directly toward covering PTA membership for the teacher or staff member of our school.

Get Ready for PTA Reflections! π¨πΆπΈβοΈπ¬π
Calling all young artists! The National PTA Reflections program is returning, and this year's theme is "What My Culture Means to Me." Students are invited to showcase their creativity by creating an original work in one of six categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. Whether your child loves to draw, write, dance, compose music, take photos, or make videos, Reflections is a wonderful opportunity to share their unique perspective and talents. Watch for Newton Rayzor's Reflections website and entry information coming soon! The submission deadline is to be determined (mid to late October).
Learn more about the Reflections program and the art categories at https://www.txpta.org/reflections.
