Infosec IQ Program
Why is security awareness training important?
Awareness training empowers each individual to recognize and manage cyber threats, reducing human risk. The human element is so crucial because 50% of internet users receive phishing emails daily! In our back-to-school tech training updates, we mentioned that our new Infosec IQ program would give CISD employees opportunities to continue cybersecurity awareness throughout the school year. This layered approach includes phishing simulations, training modules, and assessments to reinforce key security awareness concepts. We encourage everyone to view the Cybersecurity Digital Detective Course that was emailed on Monday.

PhishNotify Button in Microsoft Email
Just a reminder that you have a PhishNotify button in the top right corner of your @celesteisd.org email. We encourage you to click on it to notify us that you suspect this is a malicious email. This is actually safer than forwarding the email. After you submit it, we get a report and we can investigate the email more closely with Infosec IQ. Once you click on the PhishNotify you will get the message below. This is a great tool to help us identify those bad emails! Next week, we will recognize our top PhishNotify staff members!
