YES Stallion Press
Volume IV October 27, 2025

Principal's Message
Hello Yowell Families, this is Mrs. Fiscus with your weekly update!
This week we are celebrating Red Ribbon Week, focusing on the importance of staying drug-free and making Really Excellent Decisions! Each day has a fun Spirit Day theme, so be sure to check our newsletter or the flyer that went home this week for details on how to dress up and show your Stallion pride! 💙
On Friday, students may wear school-appropriate Halloween costumes, but please remember, no masks, no inflatables and no weapons of any kind. We want everyone to have fun and still be able to learn! 🎃
And… I have some exciting news! On Friday, the classes in each grade level with the best attendance for the month of October will get to wrap Mrs. Fiscus, Mrs. Ward, and Mr. Conville as mummies! 🧻 It’s going to be a silly, fun way to celebrate our amazing Stallions who show up each and every day ready to learn!
Thank you, families, for helping make Yowell such a joyful and supportive place to be.
Have an amazing evening!
Mrs. Fiscus

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here. Also, this is the direct link to transportation.
Parents of students Pre-K through Grade 3 are expected to meet their children at the bus stop. Failure to do so will result in the child(ren) being returned to school. Should you choose to allow your child(ren) to be dropped off without supervision in the afternoon, please fill out and return this document.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
If your student requires transportation assistance, call the Transportation Department at 540-825-5446 or email them at transportation@ccpsweb.org
School Resource Officer (SRO)
We are happy to have a School Resource Officer (SRO) this year at Yowell. You can contact Deputy Brandon Mack with any concerns you have with school safety or anything that would be related to criminal activity.
