2025-2026 Bearcat Blast

Heads up, Bearcats! Friday, Sept. 19, is a student holiday and staff workday. Take the extra time to rest, recharge, and come back ready to keep Growing Greatness!

The Aledo ISD Connections Mentoring Program is looking for caring adults to invest just a little time each week—and make a lifelong difference for a student. As a mentor, you’ll be a trusted friend, guide, and encourager, helping youth set and achieve positive academic, career, and personal goals.

Your commitment of one year can empower a student to see new possibilities, build confidence, and maximize their potential.

Ready to make an impact? Complete the mentoring application today!

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please complete the mentoring application. For questions or additional information, please contact:

Aledo ISD is capturing Bearcat pride all year long on our official Flickr account! From Friday night lights and fine arts performances to classroom moments and community events, you’ll find photos that showcase the heart of Bearcat Nation. Take a look, relive the memories, and find yourself on Flickr!

Melons are a refreshing and naturally sweet snack packed with vitamins, minerals, and hydration, making them a delicious and nutritious choice to support children’s growth, energy, and healthy minds.

REMINDER: Aledo ISD Cafeterias accept CASH OR CHECK payments anytime. Please include your student's name and ID number. And as always, you can pay online at MySchoolBucks.

Make a difference as a Substitute Teacher in Aledo ISD! This flexible role lets you support students, keep learning on track and build connections across our schools. If you’re ready to serve your community and inspire students of all ages, step into the classroom with Aledo ISD.

If you have not applied to become a Substitute Teacher, apply today! Once you have applied, register for the mandatory orientation that will be held on September 23 from 10 AM - 12 PM in the Aledo ISD Administration Building Boardroom.

From seniors proudly wearing decorated overalls and cowboy hats, to varsity cheerleaders and football players dancing to a country music medley, and the entire school coming together in song, chants and cheers! This rally is about more than football. It’s about the Exceptional Experiences that unite us, shape us and remind us what it truly means to be a Bearcat.

These traditions are timeless, these memories last forever and these opportunities for Growing Greatness happen when we are All In Aledo!

The intent behind House Bill 1481 is to limit distractions in the classroom and across campus so students can stay focused on learning. As a public school district, our Board of Trustees must adopt a policy that implements the law. Click here or the button below to learn more and check out common frequently asked questions!

Each Aledo ISD student has access to nutritious and delicious meals prepared by our amazing Child Nutrition staff. Breakfast and lunch are served everyday throughout the school week. Click here or the button below to view this month's breakfast and lunch menus.
