A Message from Mrs. Williams
Staying Connected Through SchooLinks
As previously shared in an August newsletter, I want to highlight how SchooLinks helps families stay connected and engaged in their student’s journey.
Through a Guardian account, families can:
Track their student’s progress on assessments, goals, and tasks
Receive updates on important deadlines, upcoming events, and to-do lists
View scholarship matches and financial aid tools to support future planning
Access the same career and college research tools students are using, making it easier to explore options and have meaningful conversations at home
SchooLinks is not just a student platform, it is intentionally designed to bring families into the planning process. By setting up your guardian account, you gain a front-row seat to your student’s interests, aspirations, and next steps for the future.
If you have not yet created your Guardian account, I encourage you to checkout this document to get started and join your student in exploring what’s ahead. We appreciate your partnership as we work together to support every student’s path beyond high school.
Go Lions!
School Counseling Week
Thank You to Our Counselors
This week, we celebrate School Counseling Week and recognize the outstanding work of our school counselors. Our counseling team plays a vital role in supporting students’ academic success, social-emotional well-being, and future planning.
From helping students navigate schedules and goals to providing guidance, encouragement, and support during challenging moments, our counselors are an essential part of what makes Gahanna Lincoln a caring and supportive school community.
We are grateful for their dedication to students and for the positive impact they have each day. Please join us in thanking our school counselors for all they do to support our students and families.
Shout-out and thank you to Chelsey Stalnaker, Landon Erb, Duane Miller, Julie Nelson Slagle, Melissa Monnig, Yurie Sarver, Jeffrey Glitt, and Ashley Parks for their great work!
NACAC National College Fair
To families with students considering college after high school: check out the free NACAC National College Fair on Saturday, February 7th from 1pm-4pm at the Columbus Convention Center. This is the premier winter college fair in central Ohio, so check out the flyer for more details.
PASS Room Calendar
Our PASS (Positive Academic Support Solution) Room is now open after school! It is open Monday - Thursday from 3:40 PM - 5:00 PM, and is located in the ASC Lab (H163A). The PASS Room is operated by GLHS teachers who are ready and willing to provide academic support on assignments.
Family Conferences Reminder
We will hold our Winter Family Conferences Wednesday, February 4 and Thursday, February 12. Conferences will take place from 4:00-7:30 PM both days. We will once again have the option to meet in-person or virtually.
During these conferences, families will have the opportunity to connect with teachers, counselors and administration and learn more about your student’s academic experience at GLHS.
Parents can schedule time to meet with individual teachers and staff members by using MyConferenceTime.com/glhs. When scheduling times to meet with teachers, please only reserve one (1) conference time per teacher and be mindful of the allotted time, as our staff’s goal is to meet with as many families as possible each evening.
If you need assistance in signing up for MyConferenceTime, please view the following tutorial video here. Any additional questions or concerns should be directed to your student’s C.A.R.E Team.
We are off to a great start in the new building and continue to thank all of our families for their support and collaboration in displaying PRIDE here at GLHS.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to your student’s school counselor with any additional questions!
