Principal's Message

As we close out our first month of the 2025–2026 school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership. The start of a school year always brings excitement, new routines, and fresh opportunities, and I am proud to say that our students have adjusted beautifully.

Over the past few weeks, classrooms have been filled with energy, curiosity, and learning. Students are building strong relationships with their teachers and peers, and we are already seeing wonderful examples of growth and achievement. Our staff has been working hard to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every child can thrive.

We have started some new programs with Clever and i-Ready. We are moving along with sending out our first newsletter to parents, Staff, and Faculty. We had just over 100 views within minutes of blasting out our first newsletter.

Back to School Night

We held our Back to School Night on Thursday, September 18th, with over 200 parents and guardians attending alongside their children. Families had the opportunity to meet our faculty and staff while touring the school.

The evening was a huge success, thanks to the wonderful turnout and the support of multiple community vendors who provided valuable resources and information. Some of our partners included Big Brothers Big Sisters, PTO, Forman Acton, Allied Resources for Kids at the Salem Arts Building, and the Salem Family Success Center. We were also fortunate to have the Salem County Health Department on-site, offering free health screenings.

We are grateful to our families, staff, and community partners for making the night such a positive and engaging experience for everyone.

Our Shining Superstars

In the spring, our eighth-grade students took the New Jersey State Learning Assessment (NJSLA). These statewide assessments measure students’ progress toward the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. We are proud to recognize the shining stars in our school who met or exceeded the standards. Our students earned Ram Pride Hoodies, certificates, & a gift card to Pats Pizzeria. Our Administration team met with the students at their current school and gave them their prizes.
