Cunha Intermediate School
Week of August 31st to September 4th
Connecting at Back to School Night
Thank you to every family who joined us for Back to School Night! Walking your child's schedule and meeting their teachers is a great way to open up communication with the school and to partner with us for a successful year.
Don't forget that you can join our parent groups as well to stay connected and help shape upcoming school events.
Future Leaders Take the Stage
On Thursday, our ASB officer candidates delivered inspiring speeches to the entire student body. Every student who ran showed immense courage, pride, and a clear vision for our campus.
Spirit Assembly Energy
If your middle schooler comes home today completely exhausted with no voice left, blame the Spirit Assembly! Students poured their energy into representing their classes from the book relay to the "chubby bunny" competition. A massive shout-out goes to Mr. Lugo and our Leadership crew for organizing a fantastic event!
Reminder
No School Monday: Enjoy the long three-day weekend for Labor Day!
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Updates
The Cunha Voluntary Tuition Drive runs now through Wednesday, September 30. This year, we are aiming to raise $45,000 to support Cunha students and their teachers through classroom stipends, departmental funds and Challenge Day.
The recommended donation is $275 per Cunha Cub, although any amount is appreciated, and can be made by cash, check to Cunha PTO or online at CunhaPTO.org. Regardless of how you contribute, please encourage your student to return the donation envelope to their homeroom teacher. Classes who return 100% of their envelopes qualify for fun prizes and incentives.
Thank you for helping make Cunha Intermediate School an exceptional place to learn and grow!
