🐎 This Week on the TRAIL
💻 Leading the TRAIL: Respect Goes Online Too! 🌟
This week at May Ranch, we're reminding students that kindness and respect matter online, too! As we focus on Respect Everyone & Everything, students will learn how to make safe, responsible, and respectful choices when using technology.
❤️ Try this at home: Ask your child, “How can you show kindness and respect when using technology?” Remind them that being a good digital citizen means making good choices, even behind a screen!
Let's keep Leading the TRAIL—online and offline! 🐎
Positive Parenting Dashboard!
We're excited to introduce the Positive Parenting Dashboard💻 (CLICK LINK) - a new resource designed to support families in fostering positive relationships with their children and in partnership with the school.🤝
This dashboard includes practical tools and strategies to help families reinforce positive behavior, support learning, and navigate school expectations - all aligned with our PBIS values.
Level Up Lunch Challenge
Every day our Supervision Coaches award the best class at lunch for staying in their seat to eat, throwing their trash away, and keeping a respectful voice level for each grade level. The most wins at the end of the week is the winner! The winning class wins a TRAIL ticket!
This weeks winners are:

Positive Office Referrals
Get Sent to the Office for GOOD Things!
Any staff member can "refer" a student to the office for doing the something right, showing extra effort or just doing a great job. We make a good phone call home, hang the certificate in the office and post the picture on our Family Newsletter.
GO WRANGLERS!
Our Goal: Pick up and Drop Off is a Breeze!
You play an essential roll in creating a quick and safe drop off and pick up. Please ensure scholars are ready to exit safely and quickly by having them gather all materials prior to stopping. If you would like to exit the vehicle, please park in a parking space. Having your taxi (you will recieve the first day of school) in the window will ensure your student is ready when you pull forward. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
Please DO NOT stop on Evans or Morgan Street to let your children out!! This is a safety concern and illegal. There are signs posted along the street.
Think Together Fun
Let's Be WRANGLER READY! Attendance is Key!
We are excited to welcome you and your scholars to a new school year filled with opportunities to learn and engage! OUR GOAL IS TO MAINTAIN A 95% ATTENDANCE RATE DAILY.
Getting into the habit of daily attendance is more important than ever. It helps to:
● reduce stress
● make it easier to connect with friends and teachers
● support learning
● Please call us at 951-490-4670 if you need help with attendance.
Be sure to schedule family vacations and trips during the scheduled breaks below so your scholar does not miss valuable instruction!
If your child is marked absent, you will receive an email with a link to an online learning program. If learning is completed, your child's absence will be cleared (not erased). This is one option for attendance recovery. This can be done for up to 15 absences. There is no longer Independent Study.
