Welcome Back, Wildcats!

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Clovis High School! We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to campus and beginning a year filled with opportunities to learn, grow, build relationships, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

As we begin this school year, we want to emphasize three things that will make the greatest difference in student success: being here, being engaged, and being a positive member of our school community.

Be Here. Every Day Matters.

One of the most important things students can do for themselves is come to school every day and be on time. Every class period is an opportunity to learn something new, ask questions, build relationships, and move one step closer to graduation and future goals.

When students miss school, they miss more than an assignment—they miss instruction, conversations, collaboration, and experiences that cannot always be recreated. Parents and guardians, your partnership in making regular attendance a priority is incredibly important. Help your student develop the habits of showing up, being prepared, and making the most of every school day.

Be Engaged. Your Learning Matters.

Simply being in the building is not enough. We want our students to be present, participate, ask questions, take ownership of their learning, and challenge themselves to grow.

Students, your education belongs to you. Take advantage of the opportunities in front of you. Get involved in your classes, activities, athletics, clubs, and school community. Build relationships with your teachers and classmates. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, ask for help, or try something new.

Your level of engagement today can open doors for your future tomorrow.

Be Respectful. Be Responsible. Be Safe.

At Clovis High School, we believe that how we treat others matters.

Be Respectful — Treat yourself, your classmates, your teachers, and every member of our school community with kindness and dignity. Listen to others, value differences, and remember that your words and actions have an impact.

Be Responsible — Take ownership of your choices, your attendance, your behavior, and your learning. Come prepared, meet expectations, follow through on commitments, and ask for help when you need it.

Be Safe — Make choices that protect yourself and others. Follow school expectations, make good decisions, and help create an environment where everyone feels physically and emotionally safe.

Our goal is to create a school where every student feels welcomed, supported, challenged, and valued. That takes all of us—students, families, teachers, staff, and administrators—working together.

Students, we believe in you and the potential you bring to Clovis High School. Show up. Get involved. Give your best. Treat people well. Make good choices.

Parents and families, thank you for partnering with us. Your encouragement, communication, and support make a tremendous difference in your student's success.

Let's make this a great year, Wildcats!

Be Here. Be Engaged. Be Respectful. Be Responsible. Be Safe.

Welcome back, and let's make this year legendary!

Go Wildcats!

Sincerely,

Clovis High School Administration
