Students are making progress towards finishing their music curriculum by grade level. Upper grades are working on fun and challenging melodic instrument circles, 3rd grade is working on ukes and notation for “Frosty Weather,” 2nd grade is learning the instruments for the song “Jungle,” 1st grade is working on solfege and ukes for “Starlight,”and Kindergarten is continuing work on musical contrasts. All of our NLABC musicians are doing a great job!
🤹🤸🏻♀️Talent Show🕺🩰
Mark your calendars, the school NLABC Talent Show will be on May 15th @ 1 pm. We will hold dress rehearsals in the MPR on Tuesday (May 13th) and Wednesday (May 14th) from 2:30 - 4 pm. Parents, please check your 3/7/25 email for details.
🎤 Choir
Choir students are prepping for our Large Group Festival and Spring Concerts. I’m so proud of these groups, and their hard work and the progress they’ve made this year.
ASD Middle School Choir Festival: Friday, April 11th, report @ 5:00 pm for 6 pm concert. Location: Bartlett High School. 6th-8th grade.
NLABC Evening Spring Choir Concert: Wednesday, May 7th, report @ 5:15 pm for 6 pm concert. 6th-8th grade.
There will be combined afternoon concerts during the school day for our student body on May 6th and 8th as well.
