Dear Parents,

Thank you for taking the time to meet with teachers last week! Your partnership is truly the “secret sauce” that makes everything we do at MOQ shine. Together, we create an incredible recipe for success—helping your child(ren) grow academically, socially, and spiritually. We're so grateful to work alongside such wonderful families, and we look forward to what we’ll continue to accomplish together this year. Special thanks to the Home and School Teacher Appreciation Committee for providing the teachers with lunch and snacks.

Thank you to everyone for donating candy to Home and School's Trunk or Treat. Wow! It was a sweet success and I hope it all returns to your homes on Friday!

I hope you all enjoyed the long, beautiful Fall weekend. We are ready to get to work on our 2nd quarter goals!

Go Mustangs!

Honoring Our Heroes: Veterans Day Assembly & Photo Wall of Honor

Please join our 7th and 8th Grade House of Roosevelt students on Wednesday, November 11, at 2:15 PM in the MOQ Church as we honor the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in our nation's Armed Forces.

We are honored to welcome Mr. Kerry Stull as this year's guest speaker. Mr. Stull served in the United States Air Force from 2002–2006 as a B-52 Egress Mechanic with the 2nd Bomb Wing at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. His military service included deployments to Germany, Ireland, Kuwait, and Diego Garcia, supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

A reception with refreshments and fellowship will follow the assembly.

Help Us Honor Our Veterans — Submit a Photo for Our Wall of Honor!

We need your help making this year's Veterans Day Photo Wall of Honor a meaningful tribute to those who have served! We strongly encourage every MOQ family to consider submitting a photo of a veteran or active-duty service member—whether a parent, grandparent, relative, family friend, or loved one, living or deceased.

Our goal is to recognize as many heroes as possible! Your submissions will help us create a special tribute celebrating their service and sacrifice.

SUBMIT YOUR VETERAN'S PHOTO HERE

If you submitted a veteran's photo last year, you do not need to resubmit it. We will include previously submitted photos.

RSVP TO ATTEND THE VETERANS DAY ASSEMBLY

Thank you for helping our students recognize the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women who protect our freedoms.

Extended Care News Extended Care News

Hello E.C. Families,

We had SO much fun last week with our Halloween Break Care. We painted pumpkins, wrapped up some mummies, made bubble art, watched movies and played all day!

November is a quiet month for us. We will not have break care again until December which means no break care available for Thanksgiving, please plan accordingly. We will update our calendars and ask that you fill out the December Calendar for Christmas Break Care ASAP so that we can staff accordingly.

As always thank you for sharing your kiddos with us! Don't forget daylight savings this weekend! (especially for those that come early on Mondays!)

Have a great week!

Megan, Adam and the Extended Care team

October Rosary Rally for Vocations October Rosary Rally for Vocations

User uploaded image
zoom_out_map

The fourth annual Rosary Rally for Vocations has begun. Throughout October, the Archdiocese of Omaha Vocations Office invites you to pray the rosary for our seminarians and for all those discerning the priesthood and religious life, asking for Our Lady's intercession.

How to join the Rosary Rally:

  1. Pray the rosary for vocations, on your own, with your family, or with a group.

  2. Log your rosaries at omahavocations.org/rosary-rally. The rosary counter updates in real time after you submit, so you can see how many rosaries we're praying together.

  3. You can log rosaries as often as you like throughout the month. If you'd rather not use the online form, you can also email rosary@archomaha.org.

Pray with your parish, your school, or your small group, or gather your family for a rosary night. If you'd like to pray along with others, Spirit Catholic Radio, (102.7) prays the rosary daily at 10 a.m.
