Caution about 'Senior Assassin' Game
You may have seen a segment on the news recently in conjunction with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office about the Senior Assassin Game that senior students across our district play. This is a student-initiated activity and is not sponsored nor sanctioned by the school. Sometimes students are having fun and don't always think about the outside perception. We hope that you will take a minute to watch this video and have a conversation with your student.

Parent University Joining DCSD Notebook as a Podcast 🎤
The new school year has begun and along with that so has a new year of DCSD's Parent University topics. Whether you’re brand new to DCSD or a long-time parent, Parent University is a free resource designed to support and empower families as they navigate the school years. Each month we explore a new topic based on what matters most to you - our DCSD parents and caregivers. This year, we’re excited to introduce Parent University as a podcast! Thanks to your feedback, we’ve shifted from Zoom to a more flexible format, giving you the chance to listen anytime, anywhere. The podcast also allows our guests to dive deeper into conversations, offering even more helpful insights for your parenting journey. Our first Parent University podcast discusses back-to-school anxiety and offers tools and tips for families to help manage that anxiety. Listen to the podcast here. If you would like to suggest a topic of interest for a future Parent University episode, please fill out this form. Thank you to our Parent University podcast sponsor, HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge, for their continued support and partnership.
