River Mill Elementary Weekly Newsletter- May 6th

Dear River Mill Families,

We want to give a BIG THANK YOU to our PTO for providing our staff with treats, goodies, gifts, and an awesome sign out front. Your generosity made our staff feel very appreciated this week.

Our ABC countdown has begun. Follow along to see the fun, and you can send us any pictures of the fun you are having with it at home.

With the warm weather, please send your student to school with a refillable water bottle, making sure their name is on it. Drinking fountains are closed, but we have a refillable water bottle station that is open for each cohort.

If you have a child that will be 4 years old by September 1st, we still have a few spots left in our Pre-K program. It is filling up fast, so don't delay in getting registered. You can come to the school office or register online. Our partnership with Todos Juntos has allowed us to offer a comprehensive Pre-K program free of charge to our district families.

Please be aware that this month there is no school on May 31st for Memorial day. This means that our days shift to Tuesday-Friday. All cohorts shift over one day. There will be school on June 4th.

Just one more reminder that we need families wearing masks at parent pick up per our guidelines and so we can stay open. Thank you for your support in this.

Happy Mother's Day to all our moms and those who serve in that role for a child out there. We hope you have a safe and relaxing weekend.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Behrman

Principal
