Picture Retakes are today, Monday, October 19th

Anyone wanting a redo on their picture should return the original photo packet to the photographer today; Lifetouch will apply their same order to the new image. Anyone who has not had their picture taken will also have their picture taken at this time

LAST DAY OF THE FIRST ENCORE ROTATION is Tuesday, October 20

Wrestling practice starts today afterschool in Grunwald

All 7th and 8th graders who are playing basketball, the 1st practice of the season will be at Grunwald from 6:30 am to 7:30 am on Tuesday, Oct. 20th. You should arrive between 6:15 and 6:25 so we are ready and warmed up by 6:30. Looking forward to seeing you all-GO SCOOPERS!

Do you have a family member who has served or is currently serving in the United States military that you would like to honor on our Wall of Freedom?

Please bring photos to the front office, along with the person's name, branch of service, and relationship to the student. If you submitted a photo in previous years, we still have it on display, so there is no need to submit it again. Please note that photos will not be returned, but a copy can be made in the office if needed. Thank you for helping us honor and recognize those who have served our country.

Meade School District 46-1 invites the public to attend any one of the upcoming presentations as we continue exploring the possibility of a 4-day school week.

The presentations will include:

An overview of the work completed to date
Known results from the parent/community surveys
A sample 4-day school week schedule
Answers to questions available at that time

We encourage families, staff, and community members to attend, learn more, and share their thoughts.

Please note, the October 13 board presentation takes place during the regularly scheduled School Board Meeting so seating will be limited.

Contests

The deadline is February 15, 2027. The title must be EXACTLY as stated on the form, any deviation will result in disqualification. More information may picked up in the office.

Safety

Absolutely no medication on your person, over the counter or otherwise. All medication must be given through the nurse's office.

Backpacks are to be left in your lockers. Our classrooms are very small and backpacks clutter the aisle. It is a safety thing. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
