Jaguar Journal
December 2025 Edition
It is a great day to be a Jag...today and every day!
A Message from Ms. Schilling
I can't believe it, but we are coming to the end of the first portion of the school year! It has flown by and watching our students learn and grow each day has been truly amazing! We are excited to close out 2025 with lots of celebrating, incude our Polar Express Parade and Winter Parties!
Congrats to November's Jags of the Month students and staff members! Each of these Jags showed what it means to be empathetic, which they have been learning about daily during their morning social-emotional time with Purposeful People. This month they will be learning more about Perseverance, so be sure to ask them about it at home! And they are currently showing what it means to persevere as their are pushing through their Winter MAP test!
Don't forget to check out what they are learning in other subjects, which is linked below in the "Look What We're Learning at the J" section. We encourage you to also read with your little Jag for 20 mintues each night....or have your little Jag read to you! Reading just 20 minutes a day can expose students to 1.8 million words per year! And make sure you are practicing some basic math with your Jag. Anything from composing numbers, to adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing! Stay tuned for more ways to support reading and math from home!
Our 2nd graders did such a great job in their Veteran's Day performances! We love being able to honor our veterans in this way. Special shout out to Ms.Townsley for helping prepare them and all of the behind the scenes work that goes into this work of heart! We are looking forward to seeing our 3rd graders perform The Grinch this month as we move into Holiday performances. Good luck, performers!
As we close out 2025, we wish you and your family the absolute best in the new year. We hope that your holiday celebrations are full of family, friendships, love, laughter, and a chance to reflect on what you believe and all of the blessings that surround you! Happy Holidays, Jag Fam!
As always, we appreciate your partnership in your child's educational journey! Please let me know if you need anything at all.
