Dear Nassau Families,
We had a wonderful first month of school! Students have settled into their routines and classroom communities while being fully immersed in a number of exciting learning adventures. We are thrilled to have them all here with us at school.
We have a lot going on in October at Nassau so please get your calendars ready! October is Fire Safety month and we are happy to welcome our local Arlington Fire Company for a visit on October 5. Picture day is October 13 and we will be in touch about retakes in the following weeks. We also have our Book Fair from October 17 - October 19, which will be held in the Nassau Gym. Our Great Pumpkin Run along with our kindergarten Halloween safety presentation will be on October 27 and our Halloween Parade will be on October 31.
As the days get cooler, please remember to send in appropriate outerwear with your children. Weather permitting, we will continue to enjoy recess outside. If you are in need of help with outerwear, please reach out. We are here to help.
It was wonderful speaking with so many of you on Curriculum Night. We have a wonderful partnership within our Nassau school community and I look forward to seeing you soon!
Best,
Erik Lynch
Principal
