Attendance Awareness Month
Every school day matters! Regular attendance helps students stay engaged, keep up with learning, and build strong habits for success. Let’s work together to make every day count this September and throughout the school year.
- Each Friday in September we will recognize a student who has perfect attendance for the week! The first recipient was 8th grade student Micah Hensley! We will continue to recognize our perfect attendance students throughout September.
- At the end of the month students with perfect attendance all month will be eligible for the grand prize attendance award!
- Period 1 classes are in competition all month long to see which class has the best percentage of attendance. Help your period 1 teacher take home the gold, and win a prize for your entire period 1 class.
At Redwood we are present, prompt and walk with purpose. Let's keep it going Redwood!

- Student schedules can also be found on Q Parent Connect. We can also print schedules in the main office on Thursday evening.
- Reminder that Back To School Night is ADULTS ONLY. No children should be on campus for the event. Childcare is available for free through Boys and Girls Club.
Redwood ASB Annual Fundraiser!
The Redwood ASB is excited to announce two options for family/community donations for our annual fundraiser. This is our only fundraiser during the year and is really important for events and projects to benefit our student's experience!
- This year we are raising money for campus beautification projects, including upgrades to shaded areas for students. In addition to our annual fundraiser with Adventure Zone (formerly "Step It Up") we are also offering a direct donation option for families.
- Direct donations may be made through direct donation on our Redwood student store and can be made by anyone on behalf of a Redwood student. There will be tiered levels of prizes based on total donations made under the student's name. Redwood keeps 100% of all direct donations.
- Click HERE to make a direct donation. Make sure to enter the student's name. Anyone can donate using the link, just make sure they include the student's name for credit.
- The Adventure Zone fundraiser will have separate prizes for any donations made under the students name. Additional information will follow regarding prizes provided by the Adventure Zone company. The company does keep a portion of the donation for their organization/prizes. Redwood keeps ~60% of donations. Our target for Adventure Zone is $100 per student name.
- Adventure Zone donations begin on September 23rd. Additional information to follow.

Pick Up & Drop Off Parent Expectations: Student Safety
- It is strongly recommended to pick up and drop off OUTSIDE of the Redwood parking lot. Consider parking across the street along the dirt path near Tarantula Hill.
- Students can use the crosswalk and meet you across the street.
- Added bonus- using the crosswalk helps us keep the crossing guard!
- Families are also encouraged to delay pick up even by 5-10 minutes. The parking lot clears typically under 10 minutes. If you pick up a few minutes later you will help lessen the cars near campus at one time.
