Cabot Yerxa Elementary School

The CYES Rainbow Club has started to learn how to flag! Co-advisor Mr. Ashmore performs with the Desert Flaggers and brought a few silk flags in to teach the kids. They loved it! Over Spring Break Mr. Ashmore and Ms. Axsom had the opportunity to help hand-dye flags for the kids, using funds from the Palm Springs Gay Mens Chorus Grant. The students are planning to put on an informative AND entertaining performance for their peers all about Rainbow Club, the LGBTQ+ community, and allyship.
