No School - Friday
There is no school for students on Friday, March 7. This is a report card marking day for teachers.
Return Devices Tomorrow
Please remember to have your child return their school-issued device to school tomorrow.
Yearbook
Kemmetmueller will, once again, be providing a year-end review book for each student at no cost. This book will have photos of all students from your child’s grade along with a school-wide photo collage. You DO NOT need to order the year-end review. Each student will receive one!
The full yearbook, which contains photos of all students in the entire school as well as various collage pages, special groups, etc, is being created by PTO volunteers. Families that would like a yearbook can purchase one for $10 plus tax and a credit card fee. The yearbook order deadline is March 17, 2025 so please be sure to submit your order by then! Yearbooks can be purchased online here: Yearbook order form
Purchased yearbooks and year-end review books will be handed out at the same time during the last week of school.

Community informational Meeting on Wednesday, March 19 at 5:45 p.m. in the Osseo Middle School cafe
Timeline: These events in March will likely wrap up districtwide feedback opportunities. The school board is expected to approve final attendance boundary changes in May. The new attendance boundaries will then go into effect fall 2026.
Stay tuned: Detailed information will continue to be shared at district279.org/boundaries. Feel free to reach out if something additional needs to be addressed via BetterFuture@district279.org or 763-391-8990.
Spring Break
Free Play School!
It's Hot Then It's Cold.....
It's that time of year when the weather changes daily....sometimes hourly! Please make sure your student is prepared for recess every single day. Here are some tips for success....
- Label every single item! This way, when students remove a jacket or hat or mittens, we know who they belong to and can quickly return lost items.
- Send boots! The ground is very wet this time of year. Boots will ensure their feet stay dry.
- Send extra socks! Just in case their socks get wet.
- Layers! The temperature can vary greatly between arrival and recess. Having layers on hand will ensure your child is prepared for whatever the temperature ends up being when they are outside.
Parking Lot Reminders
It's time to brush up on our parent pick-up expectations....
- The south lot is for buses and staff only. Parents should NOT drive in and out of the south lot during arrival and dismissal.
- Form 2 lanes in the drop-off and pick- up loop until you reach the merge signs.
- Students should exit and enter the passenger side of the vehicle when in the loop.
- Adults should remain in the vehicle at all times while in the loop. If you need to exit your vehicle, please find a parking spot and do so there.
- Use crosswalks when in the parking lot as you approach the school.
And the number 1 rule in the parking lot is BE KIND! The parking lot is busy and chaotic. Pack your patience each and every day. Thank you for your cooperation.
