Message from Principals

October was a wonderful month at Monitor Elementary! Students participated in fun learning activities {including our first UNPLUGGED day}, celebrated making healthy choices during red ribbon week, and had fun dressing up for our annual book character parade. We also loved seeing all of our families for conferences and enjoying their time together at our fall festival.

This month, our fourth graders and GT {gifted and talented} students will take field trips, and we will have a Chick-fil-A spirit night! We'll also host a Grateful for Grandparents Lunch on Monday, November 17th. Students will be out of school November 24th-28th for Thanksgiving break, and school will resume on Monday, December 1st at 7:45am. November will be another great month, and we're looking forward to all we have planned!

Chick-fil-A Spirit Night

We will have our first Chick-fil-A spirit night on Tuesday, November 4th from 5pm-8pm at the Springdale location. A portion of the sales will benefit our students here at Monitor, so be sure to tell them you’re visiting to support the Monitor spirit night! We look forward to seeing our families and we appreciate your support!

Veterans Day

Thank you to all our Veterans! We appreciate your sacrifice and we honor you! Please join us for our 4th grade program on Thursday, November 6th at 6:00pm.

Grateful for Grandparents Lunch

Grandparents are invited to come eat lunch with their grandchild{ren} on Monday, November 17th! Grandparents can bring lunch with them or purchase lunch from our cafeteria. Please use the form linked below to RSVP for the event and to indicate if you would like lunch from the cafeteria. If you would like to order a lunch from the cafeteria, please RSVP by Monday, November 3rd. When coming for lunch, grandparents should bring their ID and arrive early to check-in! We look forward to seeing our grandparents!

Thankful Thursday

Every Thursday in November, we like to do something for our teachers to show them how thankful we are for their hard work and dedication to our students. In the past we have provided things like Sonic drinks, Crumbl cookies, and mini Nothing Bundt Cakes. If you are interested in helping sponsor one of our three Thursdays in November, you can reach out to Mrs. Acuff or Mrs. Marquette. If you would you rather donate funds, you can Venmo @MonitorBoosterClub with a donation. We appreciate your support in helping us show our teachers how thankful we are for all they do!

Thanksgiving Break

There will be NO SCHOOL November 24th-November 28th. We hope you have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving break! School resumes Monday, December 1st at 7:45am.

ATLAS Parent Portal

ATLAS parent portal letters were sent home at conferences. This letter will provide you with the information you need to log in and view the results of any standardized assessment your student takes each school year. Please keep this login information in a safe place as it will be the same information each year. Also, at the top of the screen, you can switch between school years to see test results from previous school years. You can also choose to show all tests from the school year instead of only seeing the most recent test, and you can download a detailed report for each test. If you have any questions regarding your child’s assessment results, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
