Our vision here at Indian Prairie is to provide an academically rigorous, structured, literacy-focused learning environment where all students strive to meet high expectations while acting peaceful, attentive, cooperative and kind.

The Mission of Indian Prairie Elementary School is to create an environment that nurtures young children to be responsible, productive, life-long learners and to promote high academic achievement, family participation, community involvement and an exemplary staff and encourage the unique abilities of each student.

I am an Indian Prairie Elementary School student. I have pride in myself and my school. I am full of possibilities. I can learn, I will learn and I must learn. I believe I must start today to prepare for my future. I am determined to work hard today to make the next day possible. I pledge to make the right choices, not because it’s expected but because it’s the right thing to do.

Late arrivals: Students who arrive at 8:50 AM or later will need a parent/guardian to walk them into the office, get signed in, and receive a late pass before going to class.

Alternate dismissal plans: To ensure the safe dismissal of all students, please call before 3:00 PM if you have alternate dismissal instructions for your child.
