We hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving Break and that everyone has navigated the recent snow safely. Please review this week's newsletter for important details about school events. Remember to communicate with your classroom teacher for specific details about events in classrooms and opportunities to participate in classroom events. NO SCHOOL December 21st to January 6th. Students return to school on January 7th.

Our second-grade students will not take the winter NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment this January. We are reviewing our building assessment plans as part of our ongoing efforts to monitor academic growth, and have determined that the loss of instructional time required for the NWEA assessment outweighs its benefits. Our priority is to maximize learning time while maintaining effective ways to support student progress. Please reach out if you have any questions. The purpose for this communication is just to make sure families are aware. Thanks.
