From filling bird feeders to support local wildlife, to removing invasive plants & restoring native habitats, to simply slowing down and connecting with nature (yes, even hugging a few trees)- Biology, Coe Lake, and AP Environmental Science students put learning into action. It wasn't just about celebrating Earth Day- it was about caring for it, understanding it, and leaving it better than we found it.
Congratulations to Deionna Borders! Deionna earned another national title at the Girls High School U.S. Open Showcase in Las Vegas!
She had the special opportunity to compete at the same tournament as her coach, Steve Vaughn, supporting him during his matches before he turned around to coach her to another incredible win.
Way to go, Deionna!
