Oh the Weather is so Delightful...

Please remember to send your child with clothes for all weather. The warmer weather is creating amazing snow to build with and puddles. Please send your child with a change of clothes, just in case.

PRIDE Meeting and Community Lunch PRIDE Meeting and Community Lunch

At today’s P.R.I.D.E. Meeting, we kicked things off with a lively singalong of A Roosta Shaw, filling the room with energy and enthusiasm! Ms. Parisi’s class proudly presented their beautiful fraction quilt, showcasing their hard work in finding and sharing equivalent fractions with our community.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for Community Lunch today—we appreciate your support in making these gatherings so special!

Words, Words, and More Words

This week in Kindergarten we have been working hard on word building and learning new math games to practice finding combinations to 10. We have also enjoyed constructing our own poems during LMR. On Wednesday we turned our poems into hot air balloons.

Waxing Poetically About Spring

During LMR this week, we celebrated poetry month. Students began the week brainstorming different ideas on how they interact with spring using their 5 senses. They then used these ideas to help them write their spring poems.

Fractions~ Up Close and Real

This week our class practiced using fractions in real life scenarios. We practiced conversions when we had to split a recipe into fourths. We also are getting started on taking notes to write an essay and an expert book on animal defenses.

Engaging in the Scientific Process

The Francestown Rec Department held their annual science fair today and FES had a great showing! May Arnold took home first place with her rock candy science! Skylar came in 3rd with her project asking if temperature affected how bouncy a bouncy ball is. Great job FES!
