What is an LMS? An LMS , Learning Management System, is used to host and track online learning. Last year, we used Schoology as our LMS to deliver instruction to ALL students.

This year, our goal is to use the LMS (Seesaw PK-1 and Schoology 2-5) in a very purposeful, balanced way to deliver instruction to our students. If you have an online resource or activity, it is best practice to house it in your LMS to ensure consistent routines for online work. A balance of online and offline activities increases engagement and makes learning more powerful. Why? Because you, as the teacher, are the best tool for the learning objective!

New to a campus or grade level? Make sure you join the C & I Schoology Groups to gain access to C & I resources, updates, and unit assessments.

To join a group, follow these steps.

1. Select Groups from the top menu.
2. Click My Groups on the right under your profile name.
3. From the My Groups page, click Join Group on the right side of the page.
4. Enter the access code provided based on your grade level to teach or support.
