Weaver Lake Elementary PTO
September 2023
Welcome Back!
Dear Weaver Lake Elementary School Families,
The Weaver Lake Elementary PTO would like to welcome you back to school for the 2023-2024 school year! In addition, we welcome our new staff members, teachers, and students to our Weaver Lake Elementary School family!
What is PTO? How can I get involved?
PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization, a school-based organization with a mission to make our school a better place. It is organized to support the education of children at Weaver Lake Elementary by fostering relationships among the school, families, and teachers.
We are mothers, fathers, family members, teachers, and administrators that work together to create fun events, purchase supplies for students and staff, and collaborate with others to make our students' time at school the best possible.
Every parent or guardian of students and every staff member of Weaver Lake Elementary School is an automatic member of the PTO.
What does the PTO do?
- Organize - Organizing school events, activities, and fundraisers is a key part of our PTO.
- Enhance - Through fundraising efforts, we help to provide classroom supplies and funding for field trips, art programming, and other student activities.
- Support -We aim to support our students, staff, and Weaver Lake families.
- Involved - We help plan community events, the annual Spring Carnival, Book Fair, Engineering Night, and much more!
We invite you to join us at one of our meetings, either virtually or in person. Please see our meeting dates below. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to one of our friendly PTO members or send us an email. We hope you have a wonderful year and to see you at one of our events or meetings!
