WICKED!!! (Disclaimer for parents)
My favorite musical comes out in theaters today!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE The Wizard of Oz and this is the prequel to it. If you want something to do over the break, have your child read and watch The Wizard of Oz, and then take them to see Wicked in theatres. It is PG and kid-friendly. Know this is only the first half of the story, with the second half coming out in 2025. Here's the DISCLAIMER... My rule is usually "Read the book first." However, in this case, DO NOT let your children read this book. It is very dark, provocative, and not written for children. Some parents are not aware of this, so I thought I'd share.
