The first day of fall this year is Monday, September 22, 2025. As we eagerly look forward for the beautiful scenery, vibrant colors, fall trips and pumpkins, the BRHS PTO wishes a Happy Fall Season to all BRHS Families, Teachers & Staff, and to the entire BRHS Community! Happy Fall Everyone!

This year, we are introducing the Gertrude Hawk Chocolates Holiday Sale at BRHS! The GH Holiday 2025 catalog is full of delicious high quality new holiday items that are sure to bring joy. All orders are due by November 10th. Pick up in the week of Dec 8th. We accept Online and Paper Orders.

Why should you join the BRHS PTO?

Join the BRHS PTO today and make a difference at BRHS! Your $20 family membership will kickstart our efforts to provide funding for special programs, activities, grants, school assemblies, TAW, Senior Awards and many other events that will benefit our students and teachers at BRHS this year! If you are a BRHS teacher/staff, we invite you to join at a discounted rate of $15! Teachers will also have access to use PT Board for classroom events and sign ups. With your membership, you will have full access to our website (student directory) and early notification of all our PTO Events and Activities. This Fall, the BRHS PTO is partnering with the local photographer - Jessica Shangle of Jessica Shangle Photography for an outdoor Photo session with family and Friends. The mini sessions will take place in 15 minute intervals from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM in Bridgewater, NJ (location : TBD) on Saturday, Oct 18th and on Sunday, Oct 19th. Cost: $65/family. $25 will be donated to the BRHS PTO. The 10 digital photos will be emailed to the participants within 72 hours. Dogs are welcome but they need to on leash all the time!

College Planning Webinar for all Bridgewater-Raritan High School parents with students in grades 9 - 12 will be held over Zoom this Monday, September 15th from 7:00 - 8:00pm. This free presentation for parents will cover strategies starting early in high school to increase college acceptances, high school internships, resources to effectively research best-fit college major and top-ranked programs, establishing leadership in activities aligned with future major, volunteering opportunities, Digital PSAT & SAT strategies, guidance for impressive college essays, leading scholarship fund sites, and financial aid to lower college costs. The presenter is Susan Alaimo, the author of two books on college admissions and founder and director of Collegebound Review. She has 25 years of experience as a college counselor and professor. Susan earned a master’s degree from Columbia University and has advised thousands of students to gain admission to their best-suited colleges with the highest-ranked programs based on major. It is time to enroll for Fall Prep Courses for PSAT & SAT Exams! Choice of Sundays 1-4pm/6-9pm or Tuesdays 6-9pm starting Sep 7th or 9th. Cost: $489 includes Official SAT Study Guide 2nd edition book by College Board and PSAT/SAT Strategy Guide. Strategies are taught, and lessons are given, for all areas tested on the Digital PSAT and SAT exams: Reading, Writing, and Math. Students complete two official College Board exams. Each test question is demonstrated, step-by-step on a whiteboard, and students get their score for each test module along with additional material for continued practice. Instructor is Susan Alaimo, who has a master’s degree from Columbia University and has been preparing BRHS students for their PSAT & SAT exams for over 25 years.
