Spotlight on Digital Citizenship

This year, students will participate in six digital citizenship advisory lessons. These lessons will focus on the responsible use of technology to learn, curate, and participate in society. To find out more about digital citizenship and why it's important, explore the Common Sense Education website.

Students will participate in an advisory lesson on online hate speech and cyberbullying on December 7th. Students will watch THIS VIDEO and consider the following:

  • What is hate speech?
  • Have you ever encountered hate speech online?
  • Why do you think people post hate speech?
  • How does hate speech affect you? Others? All of us?
