Windsor Families,
It was a great week at Windsor! We had all smiles on Thursday for picture day! Today our staff participated in a secret spirit day, ask your wildcat if they noticed anything different about their teachers! See below for some fun pictures!
There is no school Tuesday in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
If you signed your child up for a club, you should be hearing from the teacher next week.

District 25 will send out a TEST message of our emergency alert system on Thursday, September 25 at 6pm. This message will be a phone call, text message, and email. ROSH HASHANAH (Begins Sep 22)
Jewish New Year and holy days. Days of Renewed Responsibility and the first of the High Holy Days. The traditional greeting during Rosh Hashanah is the phrase “Shanah tovah,” which translates to “Good year.”

Windsor Drive Drop and Go
Just a reminder, please pull all of the way up on Windsor Drive to our furtherest staff member no matter which door your child enters the building through. We have many staff members outside monitoring our students as they exit cars and walk into the building. This helps to keep our intersection at Windsor and Miner clear. While there are not many families driving to school now, as the weather gets cooler or rainy, many will opt to drive, so we ask that you follow these expectations each day.
We appreciate you parking on alternate streets for arrival and dismissal. It helps to alleviate congestion on Windsor Drive. We have had some concerns raised from neighbors that live on the Sunset Terrace cul de sac, due to Windsor families parking in the cul de sac, delivery trucks and those who live there are not able to access their homes during our arrival and pick up. Please only park on one side of the street and not in the actual cul de sac to ensure that our neighbors are able to access their homes at all times. Thank you!
Important Arrival and Dismissal Information
Our staff cannot assist your children in getting out of your vehicle so please have them ready to exit the car with backpacks and other belongings ready to go on the passenger side.
**We will not have staff supervising students on the playground anytime before school starts. Please do not drop off your child early to play on the playground. Students are not permitted to play on the playground before school. We will open doors for student entrance at 8:55. Door supervision begins at 8:50 and ends at 9:05am. If you arrive after 9:05, please bring your child to the front office.
