A Message from Principal Woofter A Message from Principal Woofter

We had an incredible turnout for our Parent Conferences and Book Fair last week! It was fun to see families touring classrooms and hallways while their student talked them through all the learning they have participated in this year.

This week marks the halfway point in our Food Drive! We are a little over a third of the way to our goal of 650 pounds of food to donate to Willowbrook Food Pantry. The Food Drive will continue until May 23. If you have additional questions about the Food Pantry or items that they are in need of, refer to the Special Edition Newsletter that was sent home on May 13 or the information below. Thank you for your participation in giving back to the community!

We are also supporting an Eagle Scout from Sherwood High School, Jack! His Eagle Scout project is focused on providing books to children in need. If you have new or gently used books that your students no longer use, please consider dropping them in the box in our front lobby or his box at the Sherwood Public Library. His project will wrap up tomorrow!

Thank you for your continued support! We are ending the school year strong!

Kindly,

Sarah

Hello!

My name is Jack Fairman and I'm a Junior at Sherwood High School. I am holding my Eagle Scout Project over the next few weeks. I will be collecting books from around the community to donate to The Children's Book Bank, an organization that will distribute the books to children in need around Oregon.

If you would like to help out, please send your student to school with new or gently used children's picture/chapter books during the week of May 12-16. There will be a donation box in the office. There will also be a box at the Sherwood Public Library if you wish to donate there.

Thank you, and I hope you support my project!

- Jack
