Dr, Hernandez' Highlights and Reminders!
Happy November, MHSHS Families! 🍂
With the second half of the semester underway, here are a few important highlights to help us stay connected and moving forward together.
- Families in Need.- As we continue to stay attuned to the needs of our school community, we want to share helpful resources that may support families facing challenges. If you know of a family experiencing food insecurity, please explore the links below for local support and services.
- National Family Engagement Month.- November is a time to celebrate the vital role families play in student success. At McClure, we believe that strong partnerships between home and school create the heartbeat of our community. Please take a moment to read my message to families on the importance of family engagement here. 💙 We encourage you to stay connected, participate in upcoming events, and explore meaningful ways to engage with your child’s learning. 📲 Click here for ways to engage!
- Digital Learning Day. - A quick reminder that Tuesday, November 4 is a DLD. Students will learn from home. Teachers will post resources and assignments on Google Classroom. They will also share with their students ways to communicate with them. This DLD also coincides with the E-SPLOST vote—Learn more how E-SPLOST has funded GCPS school buildings, buses, technology, safety upgrades, and instructional materials for nearly 30 years HERE.
Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to helping every student thrive!
Yours in Service,
Dr. Hernandez
