Parent Teacher Conferences - Friday, March 7th

Parent Teacher Conferences will be in person on Friday, March 7th, 7:30-3:30. If a virtual or phone conference is needed, please request that with the classroom teacher. If needed, teachers will share information with families on how to access the virtual meeting for their conference time.

To schedule a conference, click on the following link https://www.ptcfast.com/schools/Westview and you will be able to sign up for a time slot for your children that attend Westview. The website is open for live sign-up and will close Wednesday, March 5th.

If you have questions about the sign-up process, please contact your child's teacher. If you do not have internet access, please send a note to your child’s teacher and a time will be scheduled for you. There is NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, March 7th and Monday, March 10th.

Car Rider Reminders

Morning car riders should get out of vehicles starting at 8:35. That is when the bell rings for students to enter the school. There is not a Westview staff member to monitor students getting out of cars early so thank you for keeping students in the car until the front doors open for students to enter. Also, do not pull around on the left of a parked car unloading a student. This is for the safety of all students and our new signs in the car drop off line are there as a reminder.

Final reminder about not using our bus loop to turn around or drop off students. That loop is for bus drop off and pick only and cars in that loop when busses are tyring to enter or exit is not permitted. Thank you.

Final call for parents to purchase Cavs tickets. The deadline is Wednesday, February 26th.

Avon Lake PTA Council- Seeking Board Volunteers

Avon Lake PTA Council is comprised of its own Executive Board which works with representatives from all of the Avon Lake PTA units and the Avon Lake School District to share ideas, help work as a medium to address challenges faced by the units and the district in addition to being a liaison with Ohio and National PTA.

PTA Council is seeking volunteers to serve on its Executive Board for the 2025-2026 school year. Open positions include Treasurer, Secretary, VP Fundraising, VP President Elect and Scholarship Chair. Meetings are held roughly 4 times during the school year. Scope of responsibilities is much less time-consuming than at the individual units and our Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent attends our meetings. One requirement to serve is that you must be a member of one of the Avon Lake PTA units.
