A few words from Mr. Wozniak
Dear Clio Middle School Families,
It has been another fantastic couple of weeks at Clio Middle School! As we move toward the end of the first marking period, I am continuously impressed by the energy and focus that our students bring to school each day. We are building some incredible momentum, and it is wonderful to see our building buzzing with learning and positivity.
Most notably over the last two weeks, I want to highlight the exceptional positive attitude and school pride demonstrated by our students. We often talk about taking care of our community, and our Mustangs are truly putting those words into action in two key areas:
- In the Hallways: Students have been doing an outstanding job of maintaining an orderly, welcoming, and clean environment between classes. Walking the halls during passing time, I see students greeting one another, helping peers, and keeping our school looking its absolute best.
- In the Cafeteria: Lunchtime is a bustling part of the day, and our students have stepped up tremendously. They are taking genuine pride in their shared space by cleaning up after themselves, showing excellent manners, and ensuring that lunch is a positive, inclusive environment for everyone.
This level of respect and responsibility shows the high character of our students. They recognize that school pride isn't just about what we do during a big event or gameβitβs about how we treat our school and each other during the quiet, everyday moments.
Thank you, parents and guardians, for reinforcing these values at home. Your partnership is the foundation of our success here at school. Let's keep working together to make the next two weeks just as bright!
Mr. Wozniak

October is National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month
At Clio Area Schools, every Mustang deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued. Together, we can build a school community where kindness is practiced, differences are celebrated, and everyone belongs.
mall actions matter, include someone, speak up when you see bullying, and reach out to a trusted adult when you need help. Families can help by talking with their children about kindness, respect, and how to support others, both in person and online.
Letβs stand together against bullying and stand up for each other, this month and every month.

Stay connected π±
Havenβt Logged Into Rooms Yet? Letβs Get You Connected!
Clio families, if you havenβt downloaded the Clio Schools App or logged into Rooms yet, now is a great time to get connected!
Rooms is our district-wide communication platform this school year and replaces ClassDojo. This is where families can stay connected with their childβs teachers and receive important classroom communication.
Getting started is easy:
1. Download or update the Clio Schools App.
Already have the app from last year? Be sure to check the App Store or Google Play Store for an update. Some families have reported that Rooms did not appear until the app was updated.
2. Open the app and tap the gear icon in the top-right corner.
3. Select Sign In and use your phone number or email address to log in.
4. Once youβre signed in, select Rooms at the bottom. It should take you directly to your childrenβs classes .
Important: You may see βRoomsβ in the app before signing in, but you must be signed in to access your childβs information.
If you havenβt gotten connected yet, please take a few minutes to download/update the app and sign in. We want to make sure every Clio family is connected and doesnβt miss important communication from their childβs school and teachers.
Once youβre connected, Rooms will make it easier to keep school communication all in one place.
Help Clio Reach 100% Participation
The Educational Benefit Form helps Clio Area Schools receive important funding and resources that support our students.
Takes less than 5 minutes
Only one form per family
We ask every family to complete it
How to Complete It
Visit clio.familyportal.cloud
Click βApply for Benefitsβ and follow the steps
Paper forms are also available at any school office.
Every form makes a difference. Thank you for helping support Clio students!
End of the Day Communication Reminder
We know plans can change! To help ensure every student gets where they need to be safely at dismissal, please communicate any end of day transportation or pick-up changes to your childβs school at least one hour before dismissal.
Our school offices need time to receive your message, communicate the change to the appropriate staff, and make sure your child receives the correct information before the busy dismissal process begins. Last minute changes increase the chance that important information may not reach everyone in time.
Please make note of the deadline for your childβs school:
Clio Early Elementary β 2:45 PM
Clio Elementary β 2:30PM
Clio Intermediate β 2:45 PM
Clio Middle School β 1:20 PM
Clio High School β 1:30 PM
Clio Community High School β 1:30 PM
Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe, organized, and smooth for every Mustang!
