D93 Family & Employee Update
August 8, 2024

Scott Woolstenhulme
This past Monday and Tuesday, we met with school principals to discuss the priorities for this year. One key focus is ensuring that all students feel safe, connected, and cared for at school.
On Tuesday, officials from the Secret Service highlighted the importance of reporting systems and threat assessments in identifying potential threats to student safety. District 93 has implemented their protocol for threat assessments over the past four years.
As you prepare your children for their return to school, please remind them of the importance of reporting any concerns related to student safety. Students can report concerns by speaking to a trusted adult or by using our Get Help alert system, which is available on Chromebooks or they can text @gethelp to 855-528-0074.
We are committed to making this the best and safest school year yet.
