We are excited to welcome you to our Open House on Wednesday, September 2nd! To help make your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible, we ask that you arrive during the time slot listed above for your family’s last name. This will help ease parking congestion and create a more relaxed experience for everyone.

Teacher assignments will be available in ParentVUE beginning August 28th. We encourage you to check your child’s assignment ahead of time so you can visit their classroom and meet their teacher during Open House. Families are invited to drop off school supplies in their classrooms during open house.

In addition to classroom visits, please stop by the Gym to gather helpful school information and visit the Media Center to learn more about our Schoolwide Title program. We look forward to connecting with you and starting the year together!

If you have not yet completed your Online Registration through ParentVue, please take a few minutes to do so today. This ensures we have all the information we need to prepare for a smooth start to the school year.

The mobile app for Anoka-Hennepin Schools parents and students has changed due to a software update. Families know the app as “ParentVUE,” students know the app as “StudentVUE,” and most district staff refer to it as Synergy.

The updated versions of the apps are available to use and access now. Some families may no longer be able to login using the current or discontinued legacy version of the apps.

Dear Kindergarten Families,

We are so excited to welcome you and your child to an incredible year of learning, growth, and new adventures in kindergarten! To help make this transition smooth and successful, we have several important events planned:

📅 Upcoming Events & Key Dates

• Open House (K-5) – Wednesday, September 2nd - 4:00–5:30 PM
  Join us to meet staff, explore the school, and get ready for the year ahead.

• Individual Kindergarten Meetings – Tuesday, September 8th or Wednesday, September 9th
  You will receive a message through "Reach My Teach" from your child's teacher after August 28th inviting you to schedule a meeting.

• Kindergarten “Half-Class” Days – Thursday, September 10 & Friday, September 11
  To help students ease into school, each child will attend for one day with only half of their classmates:

  • Thursday, September 10 – Last names A–K

  • Friday, September 11 – Last names L–Z

• First Full Day for All Kindergarten Students – Monday, September 14

As we closed out last school year, our hearts were full of gratitude for the incredible support of our volunteer community. Your generosity, time, and dedication have been essential to our success. Together, you contributed more than 1,500 hours of service last year—a truly remarkable accomplishment!

Whether you were lending a hand in the classroom, helping at school events, or stepping in wherever needed, your impact has been felt in countless ways. Your involvement has helped create a welcoming, dynamic environment where our students can grow, learn, and thrive. We are so fortunate to have such a devoted group of volunteers who bring heart, energy, and joy to Jefferson.
