Nurses, OTs and PTs

In order for your billings to process through to the State, there must by a physician's, physician's assistant, nurse practitioner, or clinical nurse specialist's NPI (National Provider Identification) number attached to your billings. Obtaining a prescription for OT and/or PT, or Written Orders for Nursing Services is how the NPI is gathered.

Any prescriptions or written orders that you obtain for your students, must be provided to the Medicaid Office, so the NPI can be entered for each of your students.

  • Nursing Services and Physical Therapy Services - provide a copy of prescriptions and physician's orders via the Medicaid Secure Email as soon as possible.

  • Occupational Therapy and Orientation & Mobility service providers who may be having difficulty in obtaining a prescription from families, we are advising these practitioners to wait no more than 30 days before reaching out to Michelle for assistance in obtaining a signed prescription from one of the Wayne RESA contracted physicians.

Congratulations to All Staff Pool Participants who Submitted Their Survey within 48-Hours

Congratulations to the Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) participants who submitted their survey responses within the required 48-hours, or two scheduled school days, during the October through December 2025 quarter!

Staff with x2, x3, x4 and one staff member in the county with x5 after their name, received and responded to two, three, four or five individually assigned surveys during the quarter.

Please share this information with your team, building administration and your superintendent. Let everyone know that these participants are now on the RMTS Honor Roll and that their diligence and attention to submitting their survey on time is greatly appreciated and has a positive, direct impact on your district or academy's Medicaid reimbursement funding.
