ADL Announcements 05/29/2025
(These are sent each Thursday school is in Session.)
A Message to our ADL Community:
I am deeply saddened to report that our beautiful ADL campus has been the target of antisemitic symbols in recent days. We do not yet know who is responsible for these actions at this time. If you have any information related to these incidents, please see Mr. Barber or me.
Antisemitism and hate symbols are not acceptable here. They are harmful and go against the core values of our ADL/EWSD community. At ADL, we strive to create a joyful learning environment where every student feels safe, welcomed, connected, and engaged. It takes all of us to ensure this is our experience.
In response to these incidents, we will spend some time engaging our students in antisemitism awareness. Thank you for your support as we work together to ensure our learning environment is a safe and positive place for all of our community members.
Sincerely,
Ms.Wood

Message for 8th Grade Students and Families
Every year, Ms. Edwards puts together a "Guess Who" bulletin board with photos of our 8th graders from when they were babies or toddlers. Please submit a photo for the board. Digital photos can be sent to Ms. Edwards bedwards@ewsd.org. If you prefer to send a physical photo, please have your student bring this in to Ms. Edwards and she will scan it and return it to you as soon as possible.
The 6th grade guidance class is hosting a kickball tournament on June 12th.
