Seeking Members for Our AP Search Committee
As many of you may have already known. Mr. Kraus our Assistant Principal was an interium AP. He has done an amazing job of supporting students, staff, and families over the past year. We are sad to see him leave our school community in June. However, we are thrilled to know he in returning home to Chile where he will be the head of school for a Chilean Prek through grade four school.
Just like spring and all the blooms soon to sprout. It's that time of year to begin looking for stakeholders interested in joining the search committee to hire our next Assistant Principal.
We are looking for the following stakeholders to join our search committee:
2 Classroom Teachers/Instructional Coach
1 Special Educator
1 ESL Teacher
1 Social-Emotional Health Educator
1 Instructional Assistant
2 Parents
1 Central Office Administrator
1 District-wide Coordinator
Principal
If you are interested in joining our team you will need to commit to the following timeline.
Monday, March 11th
Initial Meeting of Screening Committee
process review, application distribution & Anti bias Training
3:00-5:00 PM in-person
Wednesday, March 13th
Selection of candidates for round 1 interviews and formulation of questions
3:00-4:00 PM via Zoom
Wednesday, March 20th
Initial Interview
3:00-5:00 PM
Wednesday, March 27th
3:00-5:00 PM
Round 2 and selection of Finalist
Thursday, March 28th
Announcement of Finalists
We will ask finalist to tour our school and meet our community the week of April 1st.
School Visits and reference verification for finalists will take place April 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
Parent and teacher forums will be held at 6:00 pm on the evening of their day visit. Parent forums will take place via Zoom.
