Message for the Week:
Message from Mr. Tejkl
Tough Decisions..
Good morning!
I hope you are having a great weekend and that you had an amazing week! We are in the first week of March and we are full tilt in activities. There could be some of us that see the inside of the school walls for a total of five days this upcoming month. It is imperative that we are staying on top of our studies and to make sure you are communicating with your teachers! Parents, please make sure you are asking questions to your children as well. How are they doing? What are they succeeding in? What are they struggling with? How can you better support them?
As we move into March, it is that time of year that some may come and go. Tough decisions are all around us and they can fill our day. Some of those decisions make a sudden impact. Others, you don't see the results until later but it is a leap of faith and relying on our mission and values to guide us to what we believe is best. Everyone will have an opinion on how things are or what they believe is best and that is what makes our species amazing. The ability to think, to comprehend, and to create. There are times where we can stumble mentally but it is the ability to get back up and not be afraid to continue to make those decisions.
Tough decisions are the foundations in which character is forged and wisdom is gained. They force us to confront our values, weigh competing priorities, and accept the inherent uncertainty of life. In navigating these difficult choices, we learn resilience, as we grapple with potential setbacks and emerge stronger. We discover the importance of self-reliance, trusting our instincts even when external pressures mount. Furthermore, these experiences create a foundation of empathy, as we recognize the ripple effects our decisions have on others. Ultimately, making tough decisions teaches us that growth often lies outside our comfort zones, and that true strength comes not from avoiding challenges, but from facing them with courage and integrity.
Have a great rest of your Sunday!
Quote of the week to reflect on:
"Sometimes the hardest decisions are only meant to be made because a better purpose is waiting. Closing one door to walk through another doesn't mean goodbye. It means believing in yourself and intuition to create your best self in the unknown."
Brittany Burgunder
Sincerely,
Tucker Tejkl
