Good Evening Yowell Families,
This is Mrs. Fiscus with your weekly update. There is no school tomorrow due to the Martin Luther King holiday observance. We plan to see students back in school on Tuesday. It is going to be cold this week and probably for the next few months. I want to share a transportation app - Stopfinder - It will improve communication concerning daily bus schedules. Stopfinder is an easy to use, all-in-one app that allows you to have the most accurate information about your child's bus schedule at anytime from anywhere. You can have the app alert you when the bus is at a certain location. I am thinking with these cold mornings any extra time you could stay in the house without waiting in the cold would be amazing. There is Aladdin rehearsal (All Cast/Art Club/Stage Crew) @ 7:30 AM on Wednesday and Friday this week.
CCPS School Board approved the school calendars for the 25-26 and 26-27 school years. I wanted to get these to you as soon as possible so you can plan your family adventures!
If you attend Yowell on an Out of Zone waiver please take time to fill out your intentions for the 25-26 school year. Returning Out of Zone applications are due by March 31st.

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here. Also, this is the direct link to transportation.
Parents of students Pre-K through Grade 3 are expected to meet their children at the bus stop. Failure to do so will result in the child(ren) being returned to school. Should you choose to allow your child(ren) to be dropped off without supervision in the afternoon, please fill out and return this document.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
