I am thrilled to begin this next chapter at Creekside Elementary as your new principal. I look forward to meeting all of you and working together to make Creekside a wonderful place for our students, staff, and community.

• Oct. 2-4 - Parent/Teacher Conferences - Early-Out
• Oct. 2 & 3 - Boo to the Flu
• Oct. 16 - Early-Out, End of Term 1
• Oct. 17-18 - No School - Fall Break
• Oct. 21 - No School - Teacher P-Day

Creekside will no longer be offering a 4th/5th split class. All 4th grade students will be assigned to Mrs. Blankinship, Mrs. Olson, or Mrs. Schoneman. All 5th grade students will be assigned Ms. Lacy or Mrs. Walker.

We’re excited to announce that this year, we aim to provide every student with a school shirt. To make this happen, we’re seeking local businesses interested in sponsoring these shirts.

What’s in it for you?

• Community Presence: Imagine 600 students proudly wearing your business logo every Friday throughout the school year, showcasing your support in our community.

School is almost out for summer, and we want you to know about a great resource for families! The Tackle Hunger Map is a quick, easy and free way to help hungry students and their families find food pantries near them. There are more than 25,000 pantries nationwide on the Tackle Hunger Map and the number is growing. Find it at map.tacklehunger.org.

• If you are interested in volunteering next year, please make an appointment to get a volunteer background check.
• We strongly encourage volunteers to do so over the summer when it will be much easier to get an appointment! Please go to this link to make an appointment. Thank you for supporting our efforts to keep our students safe.
• If you are a current volunteer, please sign in at the office as a volunteer at least once each year to keep your background check active.
