Hello and happy Friday!

Clearly the highlight this week was Bike Week! Kids got multiple opportunities each day to get on their bikes and zoom around the parking lots/bus circle. Many students grew more comfortable on their bikes from practicing so much, and others went from not knowing how to ride a bike to riding all on their own! A big thank you to Roger Hill (Ms. Foster's husband) who came three full days to help repair bikes, clean chains, pump up tires and teach students to ride. We are grateful for his willingness to join us each year for this special week.

Things are moving so quickly right now, I can't really believe it. Each class has many fun activities planned for the end of the year, and there are a number of school wide events coming up as well. With the excitement of summer bubbling up, the changes in routine, and the increase in temperatures (okay, that was a bit too hot this week) we know it can feel like a lot for kids. Please help make sure your child has a water bottle each day and gets as much sleep as possible each night.

Congratulations to our band and chorus members for a very nice concert this past Tuesday. We will be having a school-based band & chorus concert at SCS next Friday the 29th starting at 1:50PM.
