BHS Updates!
Hello, BHS students, families, and staff.
As we return from our mid-winter break, I encourage our students to take advantage of this time, rest, recharge, and prepare to re-invest in the final stretch of the school year.
The end of the Q3 Interim Marking period is just two weeks away, March 10th!
Additional news and notes below.
As always, please let us know if we can support your student and their success at BHS in any way.
Go Blue!

News and Notes
Access to Grades in Infinite Campus
We are excited to share with all BHS parents an additional option to review your student’s achievement each marking period. This method will display better on a cell phone or device that does not have a PDF viewer.
Campus Parent – Viewing Grades
Log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, then click Grades. The system will automatically default to the current quarter, but you can also use the menu toward the top of the page to see previous quarters. You can then scroll down to view grades and comments under Progress Report\Term Grades for each course in which your student is enrolled. By clicking on the arrow to the right of the number grade, you can also see additional details for assignments in each course.
In the grading detail, you can click the icon to the right to see the additional details in each gradebook category.
High School Attendance
February 2023
Dear Brockport High School Families,
School attendance is both a right and a responsibility. The Brockport Central School District is an active partner with students and parents in the task of ensuring that all students meet or exceed the New York State Learning Standards. Regular and on-time attendance is important to a child’s success in school and frequently absent, tardy and/or early dismissed children miss instruction and important social interaction. Excessive loss of school time separates children from the ongoing school learning experience and impacts their academic success throughout their school years.
Since our common goal is to have your child receive the best possible education, we need your cooperation in supporting regular and on-time attendance. In recent weeks, we have seen an increase in students arriving to school shortly after our 7:35am bell. The BHS school day starts immediately following that bell with instruction. Students arriving late therefore miss instruction and potentially disrupt the learning of others as the enter the classroom tardy. As partners in support of your student’s success. I ask that you please do all you can to ensure your student arrives at school with ample time to arrive at their first period class by 7:35am.
If anyone at school can be of any assistance, at your earliest convenience please contact your student’s counselor or assistant principal to schedule a meeting.
Thank you for your ongoing support in your student’s success at BHS, and please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or concerns at any time.
