Time is almost up
September 25, 2025
You have only a few days left to pass the 220-1101 and 220-1102 exams to obtain your CompTIA A+ certification.
The new exam codes are 220-1201 and 220-1202.
If you pass one of the two retiring exams, you have to pass the other one to get your A+. If you have passed either the 1101 or 1102 but haven't completed both before September 25, then you will need to take and pass the two new ones to get certified.
If you have passed both the 1101 and 1102 and are certified, then you are certified, even with the exams being retired. To maintain your A+, you must either complete continuing education courses or pass a higher-level exam. For example, if you pass the CompTIA Network+ exam, it renews the A+.
