Reading Month Champions!
π Going for Gold in Reading Month β We Have Champions! π
We are thrilled to celebrate an incredible achievement during our βGoing for Gold: One Page at a Timeβ Reading Month!
π A huge congratulations to our 4th grade students for winning the overall Reading Month competition! With an outstanding average of 528 minutes read per student for the month of March, they truly showed what dedication, perseverance, and a love of reading can accomplish. Way to go, 4th grade!
π We would also like to recognize our top readers in each grade level. These students went above and beyond, setting an amazing example for their peers:
- Kindergarten: Cooper
- 1st Grade: Easton
- 2nd Grade: Cable
- 3rd Grade: Micah
- 4th Grade: Jake
- 5th Grade & Overall School Top Reader: Levi π
π A special round of applause for Levi, our overall top reader in the entire school!
Thank you to all of our students, families, and staff who made Reading Month such a success. Your enthusiasm and commitment helped turn reading into a true celebration. Keep turning those pages! We are so proud of all of you!
Silver Ranch Family Reading Event
We had such a wonderful time celebrating our love with many of you! Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to join us! Moments like these remind us how powerful it is when our community comes together.
Student Council Blood Drive
We want to send a big thank you to everyone who came out to support our schoolβs Blood Drive! π©Έ Your willingness to donate and help others truly makes a difference, and we are so grateful for the generosity of our school community. We collected 13 units of red cells. These will have the potential to save 39 area cancer and hospital patient lives!
A special congratulations goes to Mrs. Millerβs 5th grade class, who had the most supporters come out to donate. Because of their amazing participation, they have earned the pizza party prize!
Thank you again to everyone who helped make the blood drive such a success. Your kindness and support mean so much!
Congratulations Julie!
BPS's Custodian of the Year 2025-2026
Special or Unique Circumstance Form
We will soon begin the process of assigning students to classrooms for next year. We want parents to know this is a task in which we invest much time and effort. Our goal is to create a balance in our classrooms with the primary aim of finding a good match for every student. We consider interests, learning styles, and academics to help aid in placement for the next school year.
Classroom teachers, specialists, and administration come together to review and plan for the transition of students to the next grade level.
We believe all Silver Ranch teachers are highly qualified and we strive to ensure all students receive quality education. At this time of year parents often wish to make specific teacher requests on behalf of their child. We will not be accepting specific teacher requests, however; we do want to provide you an opportunity to share specific needs you want the staff to keep in mind when we place your child. If you feel there is a special or unique circumstance that applies to your child, please complete the online form by clicking the button below.
Attendance Report Cards
Your child's monthly attendance report card is now available for you to view.
Instructions for viewing progress reports in PowerSchool can be found HERE.
Weβre committed to working together with families to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed. If you have questions or need support, please contact the Silver Ranch Elementary School office.
Kindergarten Registration
The 2026-2027 Kindergarten registration is currently open. Your child's birthday must fall between August 1st, 2020 - July 31st, 2021.
To prepare to register your student, it is helpful to gather the following documents:
- Childβs Birth Certificate
- Childβs Immunization Record
- Copy of the parentβs ID
- Primary and Secondary Proof of Residence
For more information, please refer to the Required Documents tab below.
All student registrations for BPS are to be completed online.
The Online Registration process should take approximately 20-30 minutes per student. It is recommended to collect all the necessary documents prior to beginning the registration process, so you can easily upload them to the appropriate places. These are outlined under Required Documents at the bottom of the page. All families may only register their students for the school in the boundary associated with their address.
Please see instructions below:
NOTE: Parents are strongly encouraged to register their students as soon as possible to help ensure placement in their neighborhood school. The sooner a student is registered, the higher the probability of them attending their boundary school. Due to capacity limitations at the elementary level, students may be placed in a different school for the current school year. Students will return to their boundary school the following year.
Age Requirement:
Age requirement for Kindergarten entrance is age 5 by July 31st.
