❗❗If you are dropping your student off after 8:00 AM, they must be accompanied by a parent and signed in through the main office. If your student is leaving prior to dismissal time, a parent must sign them out through the office. ID may be requested at secretaries discretion.

Grades K-4: Bell rings at 7:35 - Students will be marked Tardy after 7:40 AM and absent after 8:00 AM.

Dismissal

K: 2:35 - Dismiss through North doors

1st: 2:40 - Dismiss through Main doors

Upon dismissal from school, students must leave the building and playground and are to go directly home, except bus students who will be going to their respective buses. Students should not be sent to the office to wait for parent pick-up after dismissal time.

As outlined in the 2024-25 Student/Parent Handbook, Tardy and Attendance times have been revised. Students are marked Tardy after 7:40am and will be marked Absent after 8:00am. Students must be signed in after 8:00am by a parent/guardian in the office.

Scan the QR code to view pictures of our Lost & Found at PVE. Your student is welcome to grab their items, or parents can browse through it as well!

Our lost and found is full! Parents ~ please label all coats, jackets, lunchboxes, and water bottles so we can find who it belongs to when it ends up on the lost and found table.

**Note that anything not claimed by Friday, November 1st will be donated**

UPCOMING HEARING SCREENING NOTIFICATION

The South Dakota Services for the Deaf (SDSD) will conduct free hearing screenings at our schools: PVE grades JK, K, 1, 2 & 3 and Stagebarn grades 5 & 7.

THIS YEAR, HEARING SCREENINGS WILL TAKE PLACE ON:

Wed 10/30 at Piedmont Elementary & Thurs 10/31 at Stagebarn Middle School

If your child does not pass the hearing screening, our school will contact you with the results. Rescreens or further testing can be completed at no charge, with the pediatric audiologist at:

If your student had their pictures taken on the original picture day and you would like retakes, please send the picture packet on the day of retakes to give to the photographer. The same order will be applied to your new pictures. If your student missed the original picture day, please let them know to get their picture taken on retake day!
