As we enter the festive month of December, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued support and partnership in your child’s education. This time of year reminds us of the importance of kindness, community, and reflection.

Important Reminders:

• Winter Break: School will be closed December 19th. Classes will resume on January 6th .
• Holiday Celebrations: Please check with your child’s teacher for classroom celebration details.
• Weather Preparedness: As temperatures drop, ensure your child comes dressed warmly for outdoor activities.

December is a wonderful opportunity to encourage reading at home, spend quality time together, and celebrate the achievements of the first semester. Thank you for helping us make our school a safe and joyful place for learning.

All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

On Campus Volunteering

Parents and guardians of a child enrolled at a Judson ISD campus, who volunteer on campus, are not required to complete the Volunteer application. They will be required to check-in using the Verkada Verification System using their Driver's License and/or a government-issued photo ID.

Off Campus Volunteering (Field Trips)

The Volunteer Application will be for ANYONE volunteering to chaperone an OFF CAMPUS field trip. Applications must be submitted 7-10 days prior to the field trip. This application must be completed once per school year. Complete the application here.

JISD Families,

We are always working to improve and simplify communication between you, your campus and the district. Knowing what’s happening at your child’s school and keeping up with your child’s coursework and their teachers directly impacts their well being both in the classroom and at home. Rooms allows for two-way messaging with teachers and staff, classroom updates, behavior tracking, and automatic translation, making it easier to support your child’s learning and celebrate their achievements.

Selma families please be sure that we are following our traffic plan for arrival and dismissal.

At arrival please do not park in the car line and walk up to the door, we need to keep the car rider line moving, if your students need help, our staff will help them out of the car

At dismissal it is important to have your car tag to ensure the safety of our students. The safety of all is important to us so we also ask you not to exit your vehicle while actively in the dismissal lane.

We do not allow early dismissal after 2:30 and walk ups during the time of dismissal. Please be sure you have your blue card on the dash of your vehicle, if you do not have it, we will ask you to park and come inside to school to receive a new card with your identification.

All walkers should walk home safely along the sidewalk, it is not a car rider pick up location.

Our playground is so close to completion, we look forward to enjoying the area before the winter break.

Breakfast and Lunch are free to all students.
