Welcome to Station's Library!

Dear Parents,

I am excited to welcome you and your children back for another wonderful school year. As the teacher librarian, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share some important information about our library and how it will support your child's education.

My name is Amira Shabana, and I have the privilege of serving as the teacher librarian here at Station Middle School. I am dedicated to fostering a love of reading, promoting information literacy, and providing a welcoming and resourceful environment for both students and teachers. It is my belief that the library plays a vital role in the educational journey of every student, and I am committed to making it a hub of learning and exploration. Every Monday I send a student newsletter via Schoology that features news from the library: reading recommendations, tech tips, and more! The newsletter is a way for students to stay involved and up-to-date on what's happening in their school library.
