The Continents !
We are learning about our 7 continents and 4 oceans. As you can imagine this is an abstract topic for 5-year-olds to understand. We really need support at home in having conversations of what they have learned at school.
Discussion topic examples:
- We live in North America.
- East Coast Oceans / West Coast Oceans
- Conversations about vacations if you have traveled anywhere
Important Reminders
1. Please make sure students are going to bed at a decent time as we get back into the routine
2. If your child has a fever they must be fever free for 24 hours before they return to school
3. Keep practicing tying their shoes.
4. Keep extra clothes in a ziploc bag in your student's backpack to use in case of need.
5. Teachers will respond to parent emails within a 24-hour timeframe.
6. If your child brings a home lunch they are welcomed to bring a water bottle for lunch only.
7. As the weather is changing make sure your child is dressed appropriately
